The tall centre back came through Ipswich Town’s academy before his release in 2015 due to injuries. Josh has also featured for Brantham Athletic and was playing at Belle Vue last season in the Essex & Suffolk Border League but was convinced to try out at Regent by his new teammates. ‘Chappy’ has been compared to a young Matt Cripps by the R’s supporters, with the way he reads the game, his distribution, and his calmness under pressure. He will be an invaluable player in our squad this season and will have no problem adjusting to the level!
