Brightlingsea Regent are once again at North Road this Saturday, taking on Fakenham Town in the Isthmian League North.
Ryan Salter's lads will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing defeat in the Velocity Cup on Tuesday against Bowers, in which they suffered defeat against Bowers via a penalty shootout, after initially drawing the game two-all through goals from Ben Sargeant and Joe Watson.
Saturday is arguably quite the six-pointer, despite it being November, with both sides sitting on eleven points, with visions of pushing further up the table with a valuable three points.
Three points would edge the R's closer to the edge of the relegation zone, and were Mulbarton Wanderers to lose, put us level on points with 18th place.
More than ever, getting behind the lads and supporting the Regent Army is crucial, with the matchday information being as follows:

A look at the opposition:
Fakenham Town FC were founded in 1884 and are the most northerly team in the division by quite a considerable margin. The club spent a majority of its first one-hundred years of existence competing in regional Norfolk and Norwich based divisions, before becoming founding members of the Division One of the Eastern Counties League in 1988.
Spending a large chunk of the following years in steps nine and ten, Fakenham achieved promotion to the Isthmian League North last season.
After suffering heartbreak in the 24/25 season, missing out on the title via goal difference to Walsham-Le-Willows, they followed up the next season, beating both Soham Town dn Haverhill Rovers to win the playoffs and secure step eight status.
Unfortunately, they haven't quite gotten off to an ideal start in the new division. Failing to register a win until the 10th October in the league, life at step eight didn't go to great for "The Ghosts", which included successive four-nil defeats to Mulbarton Wanderers and Buckhurst Hill.
Despite the setbacks, under the guide of manager Andy Cunningham, they have successfully bounced back in recent weeks, reigning victorious over Tilbury and Bowers & Pitsea over the course of the previous two game weeks.
