Brightlingsea Regent return to league action at North Road again on Tuesday night, as Canvey Island come to town.
Looking to build momentum following an immense victory against Buckhurst Hill on Saturday, through Charlie Durling's wonder strike and Joe Watson's last gasp one-on-one finish to seal the three points, the R's take on the South Essex outfit, making the hour-long trip north.
Another home win could potentially see Regent climb out of the relegation spaces and continue an upward trajectory in the league table and begin to fully establish themselves as a competitive side in the Isthmian League North.
Tuesday evening's fixture is a crucial one towards the bottom end of the league, as Canvey Island have likewise struggled recently. We look forward to welcoming supporters of both clubs, with the key matchday information as follows:

A look at the opposition:
Canvey Island were founded in 1926 and began their history competing in the Southend & District League. They spent a majority of their early history competing in regional leagues, regularly switching between London and South Essex based divisions, before settling into the Essex Senior League in the 70's.
A rise through the divisions and multiple FA cup runs later (including clashed against Brighton, Wigan Athletic and local neighbours Southend United), their highest ever finish occurred in 2005/06, where they finished in 14th position in the Conference (now known as the National League). Despite such a positive season, financial issues took their toll, forcing the Gulls to resign from the league, and start over in step eight.
Currently under the management of former Manchester City and Ipswich Town midfielder Kevin Horlock, Canvey Island find themselves in seventeenth spot in the Isthmian League North, after a poor season in the seventh tier saw them relegated with just 27 points.
After a win on the road against Grays Athletic, Canvey will likewise be looking to build on last weekend's positive result and progress up the table.
Player to watch:
Former Southend United and Stevenage left-back Ben Coker is Canvey Island's big name in the squad, with more than 300 EFL appearances under his belt.
Currently on loan from Chatham Town, Coker began his EFL career with local side Colchester United, before making the controversial switch to Essex rivals Southend United after a short spell with Histon FC.
He made over 200 appearances for the Shrimpers but ultimately had short spells with non-league sides such as Solihull Moors, Barnet and Ebbsfleet since departing.
Now at 37, Coker has remained in South Essex, playing his football for the Gulls.
Last time we met:
The R's previous clash with today's opposition came in December 2022, where we suffered a heavy 3-0 defeat.
Jamie Salmon broke the deadlock in the 34th minute, giving Canvey the advantage at half-time, before a quick double from Joe Paxman and Evans Kouassi in the 55th minute and 58th respectively sealing the three points.
The R's will be hoping to avoid repeating history today and pick up a better result.
