A look at the opposition:
Buckhurst Hill were founded in 1986, making them one of the youngest clubs in the division, by the duo of Richard Brand and Alfie Sacre, whose intention with the football club was to provide a football club for the community of Buckhurst Hill.
Their recent history has been categorised by a sudden spell of success, climbing through the English football pyramid at a rapid rate. Admitted into step ten during the 2021/22 campaign, they finished in second place within the Eastern Counties League Division One South that year, being defeated on just two occasions.
Imminently joining the Essex Senior League, Buckhurst Hill spent four seasons in the division, before ultimately achieving promotion to the Isthmian League North last season via a playoff victory. "The Stags" got the better of Great Wakering Rovers in the semi-final on penalties, and subsequently defeating Braking in the final through a late winner from Arthur Massingham.
Under the current management of Mark Williams, Buckhurst Hill find themselves in 16th place, collecting eleven points thus far. However, the Stags' recent form hasn't been too pretty, failing to win in their last five outings, with the most recent of which coming on Tuesday night, where they fell to a defeat against Newmarket Town.
