Wyan Reid Signs From Concord!

Brightlingsea Regent have today completed the signing of flying wing back Wyan Reid from National League South, Concord Rangers

Wyan joins the R’s having made 18 appearances for the Beachboys this season after joining in the summer.

Reid came through the ranks at Aveley where he went on to play 56 matches for the Millers, adding 7 goals.

The 21 year old was a top target for Brett Munyard, having recently becoming available. He had this to say about his new man “Wyan is an exceptional talent and is a massive coup for the club”

“I believe Wyan has a huge future ahead of him and at just 21 years old he adds to an already very young side!”

“We have tried very hard to recruit young players to the side to bring stability and longevity to the squad and Wyan is another example of that”

“he is extremely versatile and can play in any of the wide positions, has good pace and is equally good going backwards as he is forward.”

“We now feel we have a much more complete squad with the addition and transfers should now calm down.”
