Regent on their travels again.

Third placed Regent travel to second placed Felixstowe & Walton Utd tomorrow for their latest league game. The Seasiders currently sit five points above Regent having played six more games, both sides between them have only suffered five league defeats all season with Regent losing to league leaders Hadleigh twice, whilst the Seasiders have also lost to Hadleigh plus Haverhill Rovers and an opening day defeat to Regent at North Road. A very close game on the opening day between the two sides with Jake Turner and Scott Yearling scoring in the second half to secure opening day points for Regent. The two sides then met again in the First qualifying round of the FA Vase, again at North Road and another very tight game was decided this time by one goal in the second half with Terry Rymer the scorer this time. Both sides are in good form with Regent winning their last six and collecting clean sheets in their last three also whilst Felixstowe have drawn one and won five in their last six. Both sides won in the league last weekend, Regent winning 2-0 at Thetford and Felixstowe winning impressively 6-0 at Brantham Athletic, the Seasiders backed that up with another impressive victory on Wednesday in beating Ryman 1 North side Needham Market 1-0 to reach the Suffolk Premier Cup final, a superb achievement and congratulations from Brightlingsea Regent in reaching the final for the fifth time. It should be a cracking game between the two sides and Webster is boosted by the return of Phil Kelly and Charlie Thompson so takes a full squad to the game, minus Kevin Hughes. This game kicks off at 3pm, come and support the Regent this weekend.
The Reserves have a free weekend.
