Regent away, Reserves at home.

Brightlingsea Regent make the trip this weekend to play at the home of Cambridge United as they face CRC. With the recent weather all games will be in doubt possibly but hopefully with Regent already behind with games this one will survive. Webster welcomes back Kevin Coyle from a one game ban and Jake Turner and Liam Whittaker to take the squad back up to full strength after last weeks 1-1 draw against Mildenhall Town, a result that saw Regent drop a place to fifth but with games in hand that could see them up as high as second position in the table. The two teams met at North Road earlier in the season with Regent winning narrowly 2-1, Josh Gould giving Regent the lead before a contentious penalty saw CRC level but a late goal in the first half from Kevin Coyle turned out to be the winner. This game is a 3pm kick off.
The Reserves welcome Lowestoft Town to North Road and are hoping to get their league season started after a frustrating run that has seen them only collect one point from their first five League games. Last week saw them defeated 3-1 away to Stanway Rovers, this game is also a 3pm kick off. Come and support Regent this weekend.
Merry Christmas and happy new year to all from Brightlingsea Regent FC
