Brightlingsea Regent have today completed the signing of Tevan Allen from Stowmarket Town.

Allen joined the Black and Gold of Stowmarket in October 2021, going on to make 50 appearances and an ever present this season.

Tevan’s former clubs include Bury Town, AFC Sudbury and Coggeshall Town where he has amassed over 300 appearances at Step 4.

The experienced midfielder will join Regent as we hope to survive at Step 3, Manager Brett Munyard had this to say about his latest capture

“We have been working very hard over the past 4 to 6 weeks to recruit 1 or 2 players”

“Central midfield being a high priority - Tev really impressed me when we played Stowmarket in pre-season, but him being under contract made it impossible. However, once hearing that he’s contract was up we acted very quickly to get it done”

“He is very adaptable with positioning, He can play deep and in a 10 position”
