Brightlingsea Regent welcome Heybridge Swifts to North Road tomorrow for their latest league game and what will be the 23rd game of the season and the halfway point for the team. Both sides have only one defeat in their last 5 games with Regent winning 3, drawing 1 and losing 1 whilst the Swifts have won 2, drawn 2 and lost 1 in their last 5.
The sides met back in November with Regent winning 5-1 at Scraley Road and at the time the Swifts looked to be in relegation trouble. The Heybridge team has vastly improved since that night and impressive results against Hornchurch at home followed by an away win at Wroxham amongst other results have seen them climb the table and the signings of Marvel Ekpiteta on dual registration from Chelmsford City and the permanent signing of Jamie Guy from Brentwood Town seem to have further strengthened the team and squad and will move them clear of any relegation worries.
The game kicks off at 3pm and should be a cracker, come and support the Regent this festive weekend.
