The Brightlingsea Regent Senior Awards took place on Saturday Evening

Our senior awards ceremony took place on Saturday evening involving all four senior teams.

First on were the Under 18's presented by Peter Johnson & Darren Hatch

Shay Broomhall picked up Managers player of the season with Lewis Mounteney winning the players player of the season.

The ladies followed, which was their debut season in ladies football.

Firstly Jess Scott picked up her 5 year service award from Dave Girlings Team.

The Supporters player of the season went to Geoginia Murray, Georginia then made it a double as she scooped the players player of the season.

Finally the Managers player of the season was a joint affair between Paige Knight and Maddie Hubbard.

The Reserves awards followed, with Captain Jack Higgleton picking up the supporters player of the season.

Lewis Hargreaves clinched the managers player of the season and player player of the season was Hayden Dutch.

Finally the first team awards, presented by manager Tom Rothery.

Tom started by awarding Aaron Condon a special thank you award for his services as he moves away from the club in the summer to start a new life on the south coast.

The supporters player of the season, which was presented to Jake Turner on the last game of the season when we met Enfield Town, was collected by Jake.

The next award went to Billy Hunt as top scorer with 16 goals from 50 appearances.

Tom then awarded John Albon the clubman of the year award for his services to the squad, it was mentioned that since John had joined the club in October the team had failed to keep a clean sheet, finishing the season with 15.

The managers player of the season went to the impressive Jake Turner.

The first team's young player of the season was awarded to our keeper James Bradbrook, who played in every minute of every match last season.

The final award was collected by Jake Turner who made it a treble on the night winning the Players player of the season.

Jake had a great season with 50 appearences, 6 goals and 9 man of the match awards.

Well done to all the award winners and thank you to everyone that attended the evening
