Mick Hanna:

Having started in youth football nearly 20 years ago and bringing through a very good youth team to u18’s , the chance to move to fc Clacton reserves came up which I took to give these boys the chance to progress into men’s football. Many of the boys have gone on to represent FC Clacton 1st Team, Holland and Wivenhoe. One of my own Teddy Collis has gone on to represent Brightlingsea and higher! When at Clacton the chance to step up with Salts to the first team came up it was an easy decision to say yes . Then Salts moved on to yourselfs which gave me the opportunity to take the first team.

It was the hardest job I’ve had but I had built a good young squad. Unfortunately circumstances meant it become hard to continue there . After a short spell at Holland . Salts offered me the chance to work with him again . Taking this role of assistant manger with Salts was a no brainer absolutely love working with him and also moving to this great club Brightlingsea to progress up the ladder well what can I say.... I can’t wait to get going . Salts ability to sign and improve young players is secound to none and something I buy into to and was very much in the forefront of my decision to come here . Also I thank the Regent board for giving me the opportunity! Most importantly I can’t wait to meet the fans which are important to all at the club! So here’s to a up and coming successful season with the R’s!

Ben Swan:

I'm A UEFA B qualified coach and spent 10 years coaching on the local football scene. Started in the SIL with East Bergholt, and then spent several seasons with both Brantham Athletic and Little Oakley, having a little bit of success on the way. I cannot wait start with Brightlingsea Regent. There’s a real positive vibe around the football club, the following is legendary and I’m looking forward to helping us push on to the next level

Ollie Leroux:

I am delighted to have been bought into this club and trusted by Ryan to help coach his team.

Having spent hours and hours of coaching from steps 7, 6 and 5 I feel I am more than ready to take the jump into this standard of football.

Brightlingsea Regent has a rich history of success and the chance to influence that is one I take with great excitement and pride. I cannot wait to get going with this group of players and management team!!

Welcome to the Regent and warm wishes from us all! Up The Rs
