The club are absolutely delighted to announce that 1st team manager Ryan Salter has agreed a new two year contract extension, keeping him at North Road until 2028!
Since taking charge, Ryan has lead the team to a play-off final after a strong league finish in 24/25 and has cemented the clubs position at Step 4, and will be looking to push further up the Isthmian League North table ahead of the 26/27 campaign.
Undeniably, Salter's leadership and dedication has helped lay the necessary foundations for the future, especially with a talented, young squad, whilst simultaneously delivering performances and results that have given supporters plenty to be excited about over the last two seasons.
Moreover, the strong relationship with the Regent supporters through their commitment and passion to the club, combined with the backing of the fans, is without question one of the most vital parts of the club's future success, and both parties believe this can absolutely continue.
The board remains firmly confident that the best is yet to come under Salter's leadership, and there is a shared belief that the club can continue to head in a positive direction and over coming years, bring even greater achievements for the club and its supporters, as well as the community at the heart of Brightlingsea Regent.
Chairman Terry Doherty:
"It was an easy decision to award Ryan a new two year contract and we will continue to support him in all his endeavours at the Regent.
As well as being an excellent manager and coach he is also a brilliant club man.
He takes an avid interest in all aspects of the club and being a proud family man connects superbly with players, staff and supporters."
Everyone at Brightlingsea Regent FC wishes Ryan continued success and looks forward to the journey ahead for 26/27 and beyond!
Up the R's!!
