The 18-year-old Idrees Namisi departs Brightlingsea Regent after an immense 25/26 campaign at North Road, making 41 appearances in the Isthmian League North.

He will be making the step up to the National league South (step six of the English football pyramid), following his development through Ryan Salter’s Sigma Sixth Football Academy, marking yet another unbelievable opportunity for a graduate.

Incomings:

Ollie Pipa

Bolstering our ranks in the net, Ollie Pipa joins following a successful trial period across the opening pre-season fixtures.

Joining Roan Tucker as our shot-stoppers for the season, Pipa joins on a dual-registration contract. Prior to Regent, Ollie spent time with local outfits FC Clacton and Stanway Rovers, as well as a lengthy period with Luton Town's academy, regularly featuring for their U18s and U21s.

Travis Richards

Central defender Travis Richards joins Brightlingsea Regent, making the switch from fellow North Essex side Coggeshall Town. In a similar fashion to Ollie Pipa and a large chunk of new signings, Travis likewise joins having impressed in pre-season as a trialist!

He featured on thirty-nine occasions for Coggeshall Town last campaign, as they reached the play-off stages of the Thurlow Nunn First Division South last season, ultimately losing out in the semi-final.

Marley Andrews

To round off the update, we are absolutely delighted to confirm that former member of our 24/25 playoff squad Marley Andrews will be returning to North Road, off-the-back of achieving promotion from the Isthmian League North with Stanway Rovers last campaign.

Marley was a fan favourite and integral part of the playoff squad, bringing a wealth of experience into Ryan Salter's squad, with former clubs including the likes of AFC Sudbury, Heybridge Swifts and Colchester United's academy.
