Brightlingsea Regent Ladies got off to a winning start in their league campaign with a 2-1 home win over Brentwood Town Ladies on Sunday.

Hannah Boyling netting the Ladies' first goal of the season with a beautifully crafted goal in the first half.

Brentwood struck back shortly after but vice captain Abigail Head sealed The R's first 3 points of the season with a stunning strike in the second half.

Next up for the Regent Ladies is an away trip to Billericay against Toby Ladies Reserves this Sunday.
