RS: “Exactly that, I thought we were superb again in the second half and actually against Felixstowe we were good in the second half, Little Oakley we looked a lot better second half. We just can’t keep giving ourselves mountains to climb. When you’re two-nil down against a side like Redbridge and you concede just before half-time, it makes it so difficult, and when the goals aren’t coming, it makes it even more difficult.

“Two years ago, when we were flying and winning every game, we could go one-nil or two-nil down and it was alright. We always knew we would be alright, but at the moment we are in a little bit of a down position and a down place, and the goals aren’t coming, so we can’t keep giving away cheap goals.”

“At Half-Time, what do you think changed, compared to the second half?”

RS: “We gave them lots of info actually at half-time, lots of motivation, tried to get the ball forward a little bit quicker, join in and run a little bit quicker, but ultimately, run harder and get into their box and defend ours a lot quicker, and we saw that in the second half.

I thought we were superb and deserved more out of it. Clear penalty we should have had to make it two all with probably twenty minutes left. Once again, nothing went our way.

“A great goal from Luca, assisted by Joe Watson, so did both those subs make the impact second half?”

RS: “Both subs made immediate impact. I thought both were superb, especially Joe, who's been struggling with a dead leg. He just about trained on Thursday, hence why he didn’t start, but I thought he was superb once he came on.

It is nice when you make subs, and they make the difference, and that was always the plan for if we were losing the game. We had Gi (Gianni Ashley) the full-back on the right-side, so we were always going to open up and go more attacking, in which we did, and it payed off, but unfortunately, it didn’t pay off enough.
