Charlie won the ESL Golden Glove and Player of the Season as Stansted finished runners up in the league whilst also winning two knockout cup competitions, Charlie has previously played for both Haverhill Borough and Haverhill Rovers.

“Once we knew we were looking for a new keeper John and I discussed our options and Charlie was somebody that came to our attention, John had seen him in their cup final at the end of the season and we’d heard lots of positive things about him as well as watching a lot of videos of his performances.”

“He’s at a great age (23) and locality wise he fits and he’s very ambitious and keen to try and progress through the levels so this is a natural step up for him and one we feel he can make.”
