Mekhi Returns to Regent!
Brightlingsea Regent are pleased to announce the signing of Mekhi McKenzie
Mekhi needs no introduction to Regent fans as the former R was with the club in 2016/2017
McKenzie made 10 appearances scoring twice before leaving the club to join AFC Sudbury, where he went on to feature 60 times for the Yellows.
The tall, powerful striker, will be reiniquanted with Tom Austin and Ryan Salter having signed for FC Clacton in 2019, this season Mekhi has made 13 appearances for the Seasiders, bagging 7 goals.
Tom Austin had this to say about his new striker, “I have known Mekhi for over 3 years now and bought him to my previous club Clacton from AFC Sudbury.”
“Mekhi has developed well over the past 2 seasons and become a real handful.”
