Jake Gould says farewell

Jake Gould says farewell

Tony Osborne19 May 2020 - 08:21

Brightlingsea Regent stalwart Jake Gould chooses not to sign on.

After over a decade at the club, Jake Gould departs Brightlingsea Regent.

Jake came through the youth ranks at Brightlingsea Regent making his way into the first team in 2008 where he has been ever since, making the left back position his own.

Gouldy started with the first team in the Essex & Suffolk Border League and progressed along, with the club, up the levels to Step 3, where we are today.

Jake is the most capped Regent player, making 442 appearances and scoring 6 goals.

Jake’s commitment to the club has been fantastic over the years, and is something very rarely seen in football these days!

JG has achieved so much at the club, winning the Essex & Suffolk Border League, Eastern Counties 1st Division and Knock-out cup as-well as the Isthmian North Division.

We thank Jake for his commitment and efforts over the years to the club, along with his family who have helped the club on numerous occasions.

We will be looking to honour Jake’s achievement when we are able to, before the new season.

Good luck Jake at your next club.
