The young forward who can also play wide had an excellent season last season for Hadleigh United after joining them from Stanway Rovers, his performances earning him Player’s Player of the Year and Manager’s Player of the Year at the end of season awards.

“I’ve spoken to Romario now for the last two years and he’s been very keen to join us and test himself at a higher level.”

“Last summer when I spoke to Romario there were things that I felt he still needed to do before it was right for him and us to make this signing happen and the thing that’s really pleasing is he has done these things, essentially, he’s done his talking on the pitch and got himself in a great position fitness wise which is what he will need to do if he’s to show his true worth at this higher level.”

“As a club it’s important that we have more attacking options this coming season and that’s something I have worked really hard on over the summer to do but it hasn’t been easy but another pleasing aspect of this signing is how eager and hungry Romario is to come in and play for the club but also do well and show what he can do” said Regent Boss Tom Rothery.
