Brightlingsea Regent FC are delighted to announce that across the 20th of June and the 21st of June (this coming weekend), we will be hosting the annual BRFC Summer Work Party. Here is all the information about the event.
Over the weekend, supporters of the Regent will once again come together to help give the ground a freshen-up ahead of the 2026/27 campaign. The annual initiative is an important part of the summer period for the football club, as it ensures that the club's facilities are ready to welcome everyone back, as soon as the on the pitch action resumes in July for pre-season.
The works are scheduled to begin at 9AM across both days, with volunteers encouraged to arrive as early as possible to help get the projects underway and completed ahead of schedule.
A range of projects are set to take place, including repainting areas around the ground, carrying out general maintenance to facilities and equipment in good working order, such tidying the terraces and improving the indoor facilities, as well as typical cleaning across the entirety of North Road.
For those of you with a spare hour over the weekend, the club would greatly appreciate any additional contributions, with volunteers of all ages and abilities being encouraged to lend a hand. Of course, no specialist skills are required, and plenty of jobs will be available for anyone who is up for assisting.
As a reward for everyone’s hard work and dedication to Brightlingsea Regent FC, light refreshments will be provided for all volunteers, as a small gesture of gratuity from the club, for the additional backing throughout this weekend’s project.
Club officials are hoping for a strong turnout and are looking forward to welcoming the familiar faces at the club, as well as any newcomers from the local community who fancy getting involved in some renovation work over the sunny weekend.
With all your additional support, we can get the ground in impeccable condition ahead of the new season.
