Ipswich all-time great John Wark is coming to share his tales from his time at Portman Road, and especially those halcyon days of the FA Cup in 1978, and the UEFA Cup triumph in 1981 when he scored an incredible 36 goals from midfield in that '81 season.

The event takes place on the evening of Friday 21st May. Tickets to be part of this night are just £12, and that includes a stage chat covering the key moments of John's career, an open audience Q&A where you can ask your questions directly to John, and finally the opportunity to meet John in person, have some photos and some items signed.

Each person who comes along will be directly supporting the club in raising vital revenue for the season ahead.

Purple Sector Events owner Keiron McGill said; "With the events of the last few months, clubs all across the UK have endured extremely challenging times. Many have been in positions where they have struggled to meet their costs with precious little income. We are passionate about helping local clubs continue to thrive and after speaking to Tony Osborne at Brightlingsea, I realised that this event could play its part in generating much-needed revenue for the club. We wanted to make our Ipswich Legends Night as affordable as possible and really look forward to seeing lots of people enjoy a really special night."
