James made his Isthmian League debut whilst only 17 for Brentwood Town where he was part of a team that won a play-off final, which was a feat he repeated at AFC Hornchurch also winning the Essex Senior Cup. He is versatile with a good engine and is sure to become a fans favourite with his excellent work rate.
