Connor Witherspoon broke through with 20 minutes to go, from Midfield, creating space, with a shot reminiscent of Bobby Charlton! The Terrors keeper Kyle Merson, did well to parry out, falling to Phil Kelly, who was then denied by the post on his 250th appearance for the club!
The host Tooting & Mitcham forced a huge save From Sam Cowler with 10 minutes to go, Jake Baxter created space and hit a forceful effort on target.
Regent's last real effort fell to Richardson who got one on one with his defender, beating him and getting his shot away, but Merson saved well!
The match finished with a point-a-piece, which in the greater scheme of things. A fair result.
