A lack lustre Brightlingsea Regent avoided defeat with 2nd half header from Charlie Durling. Haringey took the lead midway through the first half when Dean Fenton latched on to a ball over the top & finished well from an acute angle.
In a scrappy first half Haringey came in at half time the happier of the two sides in a very uneventful first period. Regent started the 2nd half well against a resilient Borough. Brightlingsea goal came on 70th minute when Jake Turner delivered a corner from the right & Charlie Durling got cross his man to finish with aplomb.
Regent struck the inside of post from Jake Phillips moments after but the ball some how stayed out. Haringey had one final chance to take the 3 points back to north London but the forward headed over at the back from one yard with the final touch of the game.
