2 Defeats on spin in League as side fails to deliver

This season we have proved to be Inconsistent as we have not really strung several good performances together.
After a dissapointig day at the office last Saturday we turned in a superb performance against Takely midweek to win 2-0 and keep a clean sheet and then again today was yet to be the complete Polar opposite again.

With an identical starting line up to midweek we were hoping for everyone in the same mindset and we started brightly and caused them problems in the first 10 minutes as we got going and they didnt.

We took the lead on 11 minutes when hard work on the left from Clarky won the ball and played into Beardo wh layed in Rymer and took the ball out in front of him and on the bobble placed into the bottom corner.

we then had several other chances as poor decision making and selfishness in front of goal let us down when passing or being more clinical may have seen us 2 or 3 up in 20 minutes.

Instead we dwelled on the ball or tried going alone and instead they shortly after caught us on the break and from a centre half header and a slight striker flick Holman and Gould got themselves in a pickle and there striker ran through to knock past the keeper 1-1.

They came into the game then and as we seemingly switched off they took advantage letting there left back travel some 40 yards with the ball before whipping a great ball into the box and there striker diving header beyong our keeper, 2-1 down and not too sure how.

We continued to play and although we were very flat and no one seemed to get us going we created a couple more chances beforethe half, our problems were compounded when club top scorer Rymer's hamstring pulled and we were forced into an early change with Philbo replacing him.
He nearly had an ealry impact though as he ran past three only to be denied by the keeper and send us in 2-1 down at half time.

The management i think were hopeful that some very strong words would have done the trick at half time and some home truths told, however the second half was a dire no show.
We played in fits and starts but showed no cutting edge and yet more poor decisiosn making in the final third let us down.

As we pressed for an equaliser they caught us on the break with a well worked goal but as we tracked no runners there sub founfd himself with a free header at the far post to make it 3-1 and the game was done.

We did however continue pushing and got another back in the 80th minute when Beardos good work outwide crossed to the far post for L Hughes to rise and volley in 3-2.

In the final stages as we threw everyone forward and we sensed an equaliser yet more selfish play and poor decision making prevented us from getting good balls into the box and they saw the game out 3-2.

Perhaps some players need to think about there perofrmances today and how best to improve as they have a week to dwell on what i believe to be one of our laziest peroformances for some time.

Well done to Debenham who appear to have come with a game plan ans tuck to it but o our first half chances alone should have put the game out of sight and as they commented at half time were unsure how they were 2-1 up.

No highlights whatsoever today in a dismal sunny day at North road!!!
