Brightlingsea Regent sign midfielder Harry Morgan on a one year deal

Harry Morgan becomes the second signing for Brightlingsea Regent signing a one year deal at the club.

Harry has joined from Heybridge Swifts where he also had loan spells whilst with Heybridge at Maldon & Tiptree and Waltham Forest.

Before Heybridge Harry begun his senior career with Chelmsford City in the National South League, Harry came through the Chelmsford Academy like former Regent players, Amir Berkane and Jake Gordon.

Regent Manager Tom Rothery was pleased to capture the second signature in as many days “Harry is a ball playing central midfielder and will fit nicely into our ethos at the club. He’s a very humble, grounded lad and at 21 fits the type of player again like Harvey Hodd that I believe Pip and I can develop and really bring the best out of at Brightlingsea.

Harry has good experience from playing 70 games at Chelmsford City in the league above and I think Harry wants to settle at a club now and I feel that’s important for his development that he now really beds in at Regent and with that I believe that will enable us to get the best out of him.

One of the main areas of improvement for us as a team is to retain the ball better, I felt we did this as the season progressed but Harry is another important signing in helping us do that even better, he’s another technically gifted player who will certainly help us move the ball through the thirds and play the brand of football that we are looking to play”.

More transfer news is imminent as the off season gathers pace.
