As Brightlingsea Regent Reserves embark on their debut campaign at step 6 we are pleased to announce the new Management team.

Lee Clark is the new Manager of Brightlingsea Regent Reserves, Glen Last will be his Assistant with Adam Munn coming in as Head Coach.

Ritchie Meadows will remain as player coach whilst Alan Long and Ritchie Russell will also remain in the roles they held under former Manager Sam Day.

Lee has managed in the local area and makes the step us in a similar vein as the Reserve side.

It’s an exciting venture for the Reserves who like Lee will now look to grow and gain experience at this higher level.

Lee will be assisted by Glen Last with Adam Munn coming in as Head Coach.

Adam is a Uefa B coach who was First Team Coach at Burnham Ramblers when they were at step 4 level competing against Brightlingsea Regent First Team, Adam is also a coach for West Ham in the community and was previously a coach at the West Ham Academy.

“I’m pleased to now be in a position to announce the new set up for the Reserves.

Since Sam stepped down it’s been a priority to replace him with a person of similar work ethic and somebody who will also buy into what we are trying to achieve at Brightlingsea.

With the announcement of step 6 football for the Reserves now I feel we have even more to offer young local talented players and it’s imperative that as a club we now look to really strengthen the link from youth football into the Academy, through to the under 18’s, into the Reserves and eventually right up to the First Team.

I believe there’s a real pathway and it’s an exciting and positive time for the club that we can offer such a high level of football for all our teams” said a delighted Regent Chairman Terry Doherty.

Welcome to the club Lee, Glen and Adam.
