Jake Turner has signed a two year deal to remain at the Taydal stadium until May 2021.
The Regent midfielder won the Supporters player of the year along with Players player and Manager’s player last season and has been with the club since signing in 2012 apart from a short spell with AFC Sudbury in 2018.
Regent Boss Tom Rothery was delighted with the deal
“JT had a great season and really showed his true capabilities last season I felt.”
“I’ve always been on JT’s case about letting his personality come out in games and really show what ability he has, I feel he has everything a midfielder needs.”
“He can do the ugly stuff and has great technical ability in both feet and I feel he should control games for us and he did that last season and played with real confidence, it was excellent to watch.”
“JT is another huge asset to the club and if we are to be successful securing him is vitally important and the fact he’s happy to sign a two year deal shows we are all happy with what’s going on at the moment and another big boost as we head into a new season”
